Interior design is "the art or process of designing the interior, often including the exterior, of a room or building". An interior design is the coordination and manage of such projects. Interior design is a multifaceted profession that includes conceptual development, communicating with the stakeholders of a project and the management and execution of the design.

Commercial interior designers design public spaces such as office buildings, community centers, museums, hotels, stores, warehouses, and libraries. In commercial design the we create an environment that includes function and aesthetics. A commercial interior design includes selecting paint colors, choosing artwork, accounting for acoustics and lighting, picking appropriate furniture, and placing all these together in the manner most appropriate to the venue.
